The Work Begins

Our Hail Division Mobile Unit technician begins to work on the roof of the Lexus LX570.  We counted over 600 dents in the roof alone.  Despite the size of the job, our tech will restore the original form of the vehicle in a timely manner.  We’ll post photos of the finished product ASAP.

Extensive Roof Damage

Here’s a short video clip that reallys shows the extensive hail damage to the roof of this Lexus LX570.  Our Hail Division Mobile Unit spent the better part of three days restoring this vehicle to it’s original form using Dent Concepts’ unique brand of Paint-free Dent Repair (PDR).

Mobile in NY/NJ

Our Hail Division Mobile Units are currently on the road at Dobbs Autobody in Springfield, NJ and at Lazzaro’s Autobody in Green Island, NY.  At Lazzaro’s one of our technicians is working on a Lexus LX750 that was decimated by a hailstorm that inflicted over 600 dents on the roof alone!  We’ve posted some pre-PDR photos of that vehicle here, and we’ll have some video and post-op photos sometime tomorrow.

At Dobbs, we’ve got a very different type of job in progress.  Several of our technicians were dispatched to New Jersey to repair several hundred hail-damaged vehicles.  We’ll be posting photos from that job in the next few days as well.

Mapping the Damage

After removing the headliner on the Lexus LX570, our tech painstakingly inspected the hail damaged roof, and used a completely safe and removable dry-erase marker to mark each and every dent.  All told, there are over 600 dents on this roof.  They range in size from nickel to quarter size in diameter.  This kind of damage is a worst case scenario when your vehicle is caught in a hail storm.  Our Hail Division has been erasing this kind of devastation since its formation in 2005.

600+ Hail Dents!

Upon arrival at Lazzaro’s Auto Body our Mobile Hail Division Technician found himself faced with a serious challenge.  The damaged Lexus LX570 had sustained over 600 dents on the roof alone.  In order to repair the damaged roof, our man will have to first remove the headliner.  This is an involved process that requires a great deal of care and concentration.  Dent Concepts technicians take great pride in respecting the cleanliness and integrity of the interior of your vehicle, as well as exterior.

Mobile Unit in NY

Dent Concepts dispatched a Mobile Paint-free Dent Repair Unit to Green Island, New York yesterday to repair a Lexus LX570 that was severely damaged by a recent hail storm.  The severity of the hail damage to this vehicle made it necessary for our mobile unit to leave our Rhode Island location at 5am.  Here are some photos from the road.

4,600 Hail Claims

A recent hail storm in Manitoba, Canada dropped softball-sized hail on over four thousand vehicles in that region.  CBC News in Manitoba is reporting that this has been the worst case of vehicle hail damage in the region since 2007.  Click the photo below to read the full article on CBCNews.ca.
